Our Homes
In 2009, through generous donations, fundraising efforts, and community support, Autism Services purchased land and built the first autism-specific home for adults in Louisiana. Since opening the Geri Christ Landry House (formerly known as Creole House), our organization has purchased and opened six additional homes, all located in Lake Charles and all offering housing and support services exclusively to adults on the autism spectrum. Four of our homes, Marion Hartwell Cannon House, Karen McComb Duhon House, and Ann Hart Miller House, Geri Christ Landry House are named to recognize the vision, work and determination of the women who founded our organization. In 2022 thanks to Mr. Tom Shearman and Mrs. Donna Mead, we were able to add two new beautiful homes to better serve our community.
